Open their record
Section titled “Open their record”Go to Staff and open the person. The Login card says No login until they have one.
Create the login
Section titled “Create the login”Press Create login. Choose a temporary password, type it twice, and press Create login.
Give them the password
Section titled “Give them the password”Tell them the temporary password in person or on the phone, and send them to app.madrasaty.co.uk. The first time they sign in, they choose their own password before anything else opens: Setting up your staff account shows them what to expect.
What staff can open
Section titled “What staff can open”Staff who aren’t administrators see their own classes, registers, progress, timesheet and notices. Everything else is for administrators.
Making someone an administrator
Section titled “Making someone an administrator”On the Login card, switch on Administrator. It’s saved straight away, with no Save button. Administrators run the madressah: staff and pupils, guardians, pay, exports, school settings, absence reports, the call list and the whole register board.
The switch is greyed out until the person has a login, because being an administrator is part of the login.
The madressah always needs at least one administrator. If you’re the last one, the app won’t let you switch it off for yourself: make someone else an administrator first.
Ending someone’s access
Section titled “Ending someone’s access”Press Revoke login and confirm. They can no longer sign in, and their staff record, registers and timesheet all stay. You can create a new login for them later.
If they’ve left the madressah, deactivate their record instead: that ends their login too. See Adding a staff member.
A forgotten password
Section titled “A forgotten password”There’s no reset button for staff yet. Revoke their login, then create a new one with a temporary password.
