Your timesheet

Write down the hours you worked, a day at a time, and check your week and month totals.

Updated 5 October 2026

  1. Go to Timesheets. It opens on this week, Monday to Sunday, with each day’s hours beside it. A day with nothing written down says No hours: that’s what to look for.

    The arrows beside the dates step back a week at a time, and Back to this week brings you home. Days still to come say Not yet and can’t be opened.

    Today’s date is in solid mint.
  2. Press the day. The times start at your madressah’s opening hours, so often there’s nothing to change. Adjust Start and Finish if you need to, and add a Note if it helps, such as “Covering Hifz 2”.

    Worked twice that day, with a break between? Press Add another shift.

    Press Add hours to save.

  3. Under the days, Week total adds up your week and says how many days you worked. Switch from Week to Month, at the top, to see the month’s total and every day you worked in it.

Open the day, change the times and press Save hours. You can correct any day in the past, however long ago; each change is kept in your madressah’s records.

On a day with more than one shift, Remove beside a shift takes that one away. Remove this day’s hours, at the foot of the sheet, clears the whole day after you confirm.

The app stops a mistake before it’s saved:

  • the finish has to be after the start, on the same day. A shift can’t run past midnight;
  • you can’t record time that hasn’t happened yet;
  • two shifts on one day can’t overlap.

If this week is much like the last, press Copy last week under the totals. It copies each day’s shifts from last week onto the same day this week. Any day you’ve already filled in, and any day still to come, is left alone, and the app tells you which it skipped.

Your timesheet shows hours only. Your madressah’s administrators see what the hours cost when they pay you.
