Reading notices from the office

Where notices for staff appear, how you know what’s new, and how to open an attachment.

Updated 5 October 2026

Notices for staff appear under Notices, whether they’re for the whole madressah or a class you teach. The number beside Notices in the sidebar is how many you haven’t read yet. On a phone, Notices is behind More on the bar at the bottom, which carries the same number.

The board shows the newest first, in two groups: This week and Earlier.

A mint date means you haven’t read it yet.

Press a notice to read it. Opening it marks it as read, and the number goes down. To clear everything at once, press Mark all as read at the top of the board.

A paperclip on a notice means a file is attached, such as a letter or a form. Open the notice and press the file’s name under the message to save it.

Urgent notices have a red mark; read them first. A notice can also have an end date: after it, it shows Expired with the date, so you know it’s no longer current.

Your own notices are on the same board, marked You. Drafts sit at the top under Drafts until you publish them.
