Reading notices

Messages from the madressah and your child’s teachers, and how to open an attachment.

Updated 5 October 2026

Press Notices at the bottom of the screen, or in the sidebar on a computer. The number on it is how many you haven’t read yet. The newest notices are on Home too.

You get notices the madressah sends to parents, or to everyone, for the whole madressah or one of your children’s classes. A notice for a class is labelled with your child’s name and the class.

A mint date means you haven’t read it yet.

Press a notice to read it. Opening it marks it as read. To clear the number all at once, press Mark all as read at the top of the list.

Urgent notices are marked in red, and also appear on Home under Needs your attention.

If a notice has a file attached, such as a letter or a form, its name is under the message. Press it to save it to your phone or computer.

A notice for one of your child’s classes also appears on that child’s Overview, under Notices for and their name.

Notices can expire, or be taken down by the madressah. If one you were reading has gone, the app says it isn’t available any more.
