Tell the madressah your child won’t be in, and why. It takes less than a minute, and saves the office a phone call.

Press Report an absence
Section titled “Press Report an absence”It’s on Home, and on your child’s Attendance tab.
Choose the day and the reason
Section titled “Choose the day and the reason”Choose your child, if you have more than one. You can choose several. Then the day they’ll be away: Today, Tomorrow or Another day in the next two weeks. Under Why?, choose the reason. A note is optional, but helps if they’re unwell.
Going away? Use Asking for a holiday instead. Send it
Section titled “Send it”Press Send. The report shows on your child’s Attendance tab. It says Sent to the school, then Seen by the school once the office has read it.
Who reads your note
Section titled “Who reads your note”Your child’s teacher and the madressah office. Nobody else sees it.
Changed your mind?
Section titled “Changed your mind?”Open the report on your child’s Attendance tab and press Withdraw this report. The madressah will expect your child after all. You can withdraw a report up to the day it’s for; if it’s too late, the app tells you.
If you can’t report
Section titled “If you can’t report”Only some guardians can report an absence for a child, depending on how the madressah has you recorded. If you can’t, the app says so where the button would be: ask the office.
