Why it asks which madressah
Section titled “Why it asks which madressah”Madrasaty is used by more than one madressah, and the same email address can have an account at more than one of them. Choosing yours first tells the app which account you mean.
Type a few letters of the name and choose it from the list. If it doesn’t appear, check the spelling, or ask your administrator which name to look for. Only madressahs that use Madrasaty are listed.
Staff or Parent
Section titled “Staff or Parent”These are two separate accounts, each with its own password:
- Staff is for teachers and everyone else who works at the madressah, including administrators.
- Parent is for guardians, to see their children’s attendance, read notices and report an absence.
If you teach at the madressah and your own children go there too, you have one of each. Choose the one for what you’re doing now.
Switching
Section titled “Switching”To use your other account, or a different madressah, log out first. On the sign-in card, the back control at the top names the step it goes back to: press it to choose the account type again, and once more to choose the madressah.
If the details aren’t recognised
Section titled “If the details aren’t recognised”The app gives the same message whether the password, the madressah or the account type is wrong, so it’s worth checking all three. Use the password for the account you’ve chosen: your staff and parent passwords are separate, and one won’t open the other.
